BANANA ICE CREAM – Healthy Home made in a blender:
Peel, slice and freeze (for several hours) 1 banana. Place frozen banana slices in a blender and add 3-5 spoons of milk of your choice. Blend until thick. Top with 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts on top (optional). Enjoy!
I tried many things with that mixture. Here is a list of other optional ingredients to add to your banana ice cream. I experimented and tasted many things and these are I like (separately):
• 1-2 fresh strawberries chilled -not frozen from a bag- they taste different
• 1 slice of pineapple, either fresh or canned but chilled
•  a few pieces of a fresh mango
• 1-3 wedges of orange or tangerine
• 2-3 cubes of fresh papaya (when you add this, also include another sweet fruit like pineapple)
• 1 spoon of peanut butter
• 1 scoop of protein powder (either vanilla or chocolate)
*** Also, if you want to make it good but not so healthy, add a splash of Grand Marnier, Rum, Malibu or other flavored alcohols or your choice. Be creative and experiment on your own 🙂
Yum!
