How to have productive days & weekends?

Exercise first thing in the morning!!Β  Get up early and do your routine! Get it out of your way and you’ll be free the rest of the day/ weekend. If you don’t, then every hour that goes by, another excuse…. Get Your Priorities Strait. Today, I had my morning cup of coffee, checked email, etc. and later hit a treadmill: 5 miles πŸ™‚ Nothing crazy intense- just moderate pace. I ended up with 2 abs segments: 1) 12 intervals (30 sec. each), 2) and 10 intervals with small weights.

Now, I’m energized & free for the rest of the weekend so I can do whatever I want!

  1. I totally agree. If I don’t work out first thing in the morning, then I don’t work out at all!

You are so on point. I can truly testify to that. My days are so different when I do not exercise first thing in the morning. Thanks Fitappy.

    Stay Fit!

You read my mind! I need to kick-start early morning workouts once again (the cold + law exams deterred me) and I’ll be checking out some of your videos for inspiration. Thank you!

I am the same way. 15 years it was different; if I worked out first thing in the day I lost all my energy. Now, if I don’t do it first, it becomes a real challenge to get it in there.

Umm, yup! Gotta get my bum out of bed and get on with it! Guess I’ll be setting the alarm before bed tonight…
