Explosive Cardio Workout with Plyometric Exercises

This workout consists of jumps, squats and kicks.  Some exercises are also known as plyometrics (jump training) and their purpose is to increase muscular power and explosiveness. In other words, this is  an amazing workout + fat burned 😉 Performing these exercises, as well as other plyos, can lead to improvements in: jump performance, shape your legs and glutes, strength your legs, muscle power, balance and agility.  I wouldn’t recommend it to beginners due to intensity and difficulty. Do some easier workouts to build strength and condition, otherwise you could injure yourself 😦

How to do Regular, Plié & Sumo Squats and DeadLifts ♦ Tutorial

Here is my latest tutorial video, in which you’ll find information about Regular,  Sumo and Plie Squats. The video  explains how to do them properly, how to avoid common mistakes  and describes  differences between those squats. Major muscles involved in squats are: gluteus maximus and quadriceps. Sumo/Plie squats target also leg adductors. I hope I covered everything this time 😉 Always warm up and stretch before and after workout. 

And this one is about Deadlifts. Target muscles: glutes, hamstrings and erector spinae. The second half of this tutorial includes one leg deadlifts instructions. When you improve your balance enough to try one leg deadlift, work both legs equally.  Have fun with it!

Fitness for Women & Men ★ Torch more calories by playing “around”

Many people ask me if certain workouts are as effective for men as they are for women. The best way to find out is to try it out 🙂 Not all bodies respond the same way. Some will need a few weeks to see improvement and others will need a few months regardless of your sex. Here is a simple example of physical activities for both men and women, which burn fat and lose inches by playing sports or doing other activities! Below you’ll find a number of calories burned per 1 min on a 135-pound person. How much you’ll burn depends on your body weight and intensity of your workout/activity. Still, think of it as fitness for women and men 😉

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is one of the best and most effective ways to get in shape fast. HIIT requires alternating periods of very intense, all-out effort with lower intensity (or rest) sessions during which time you’re able to recover. HIIT can be very difficult when done for the first time, so make sure to go at you own pace and stay hydrated!
Some people do HIIT first thing in the morning and on an empty stomach in order to deplete carbohydrates store faster, and begin using fat as fuels sooner in the exercise session. True, however; in my opinon this type of workout is so intense that you SHOULD eat something before – something small though: a piece of fruit or a shake. Otherwise, you may not have enough strength and energy to go thru the session. Therefore, making your workout NOT as efficient as it could be. Your post workout ‘recovery’ meal should include not only carbohydrates and protein, but also essential vitamins and minerals.
